Priorities in Forest Defense

KS Wild’s small team of ForestWatch staff determine which Forest Service and BLM proposals have the greatest potential to impact key watershed or wildlife values while encouraging actions that might improve ecosystem health and opposing plans to harm public lands. Defending the Cascade-Siskiyou National Monument

The Cascade-Siskiyou National Monument is one of 27 monuments across the U.S. under "review" by the Trump Administration with an eye toward reducing the Monument's size or eliminating protections.

The Wild Rogue: A Treasure Worth Protecting

Wild Rogue protections have been included in the Oregon Wildlands Act! The bill would expand the Wild Rogue Wilderness by 56,000 acres and create a 95,000-acre Rogue Canyon National Recreation Area in southwest Oregon.
