The 1994 Northwest Forest Plan (NFP) continues to be the largest, truly science-based forest and ecosystem management plan in the country. Almost 30 years later, the Plan is now being updated to reflect current issues our forests face in the era of climate change.

This presentation will dive into what the NFP is, how it affects the Klamath-Siskiyou, and how the plan is currently being updated. We will also learn about the intersection of the NFP and the diverse perspectives of local indigenous communities of northern California.

Panelist include: Susan Jane Brown: Silvix Resources, Nikcole Whipple: Save Caliornia Salmon, Alexi Lovechio: KS Wild
