January: Shadows Tribe, and How They Live: Great Grey Owls

The Great Gray Owl has earned its mystique. It is the tallest owl in North America, yet it east small prey, It lives in areas of the western U. S. that are far to the south of the rest of the Great Gray Owl population around the Northern Hemisphere. Latest estimates indicate there are fewer than 300 left in California where it is on the state endangered species list.

We will learn how they live, where they live, and what you can do to see this phantom of the forest.


Join us in February to learn about the revision process of the NWFP and in March with Riffles to Ridges, an indigenous women-led organization working on the Klamath dam removal.
