First Friday February with Peter Van Fleet

KS Wild and Rogue Riverkeeper invite you to join us for art,and poetry at this next KS Wild First Friday show on February 2nd. An impromptu reading from various poets surrounded by Peter’s latest work will greet the eyes and ears of the viewers.

First Friday Artwalk Friday, February 2 from 5pm - 7pm

Wine, refreshments, and Hors de'oeuvres by Chef Charlene!

Peter is offering a 10% discount off any of his work if you say “ BILL STAFFORD” in the course of purchasing one of his most absolutely most incredible breathtaking works. This is in honor of this great Oregonian poet whose birthday celebration must not be missed. Readings will commence at 5:30 PM with the Master of Ceremonies brought to you by Betty LaDuke.

Artist Statement: I use styrene as a ground for my work. Unlike canvas, it embodies, embeds, and contains three dimensionalities; I would say the whole work can render the fourth dimension more clearly: with a light source reflecting down on my work you see the fourth dimension on the shadows cast upon the wall. The shadows become an integral part of the composition. (Unfortunately, this phenomenon requires the use of indirect lighting to reflect onto the painting not available at this viewing at KS Wild. Talk to Peter when you are ready to see.)
