Join KS Wild and the Williams Community Forest Project to explore the old-growth forest on Bureau of Land Management forests.

This moderately difficult hike follows a wide trail uphill through the BLM’s proposed Integrated Vegetation Management Project. We will specifically be viewing the Penn Butte timber sale that is targeting old-growth trees for logging.

There is a vista point 1.5 miles up the trail, where we will enjoy the views and learn how we can take action to protect old-growth trees.
