Please join us in our ongoing efforts to protect and restore the Eight Dollar Mountain Botanical Area. Over the past five years KS Wild has collaborated with the Forest Service, local community members, and local organizations to help protect and restore this botanical area from unauthorized off road vehicle (ORV) use.

We will spend the morning photo monitoring on-site throughout the botanical area. This first of four photo monitoring rounds in 2022, and will inform us of what needs to be done for our Stewardship Day in May. Learn how to effectively assist us in GPS photo documentation and experience the rugged beauty of this amazing place! We will be walking on rugged, uneven terrain for about a mile throughout the botanical area.
