Ever wonder why southwest Oregon and northern California is called the Klamath Knot? Join Jeanine Moy for a photographic tour of some of the most rugged mountain ascents in our bioregion's designated Wilderness backcountry areas. We'll delve into the heart of Bigfoot country by getting a glimpse of high elevation off-trail hiking/climbing routes and some of the rare wildflowers along the way.
Jeanine will share experiences of backpacking, 4th class rock scrambling, and some technical climbing routes in Wilderness Areas and areas of wilderness quality, from the Klamath-Siskiyou region including; the Trinity Alps, Castle Crags, the Siskiyou Crest, Sky Lakes, Red Buttes, and Cascade-Siskiyou National Monument.
