Siskiyou Crest Stewardship Day

Protect unique botanical and wildlife resources on our next stewardship day up on the Siskiyou Crest just west of Mt. Ashland in collaboration with the US Forest Service in both the Rogue Siskiyou and Klamath National Forests. Spend the day outside to help implement and monitor the travel management plan (TMP) through light-handed work to reestablish Road 20, the Siskiyou Crest corridor as a recreation destination.

We will be doing site cleanups, fence maintenance, and monitoring along the Siskiyou Crest at the Mt Ashland Campground, Grouse Gap, Wrangle Gap, and Meridian Overlook. The activities will be moderately Easy, expect to walk on uneven terrain with some light handed work. 1 mile or less of walking.

Space is limited so sign up today to get involved with public land stewardship.
