Join KS Wild staffer Haleigh and KS Wild friend Eric for a day wandering around the Upper Rogue River forests in search of any and all mushrooms to identify and learn about. Eric, a certified fungiphile, is excited to teach you all about the mushrooms—big and small, edible and poisonous—that grow in the wet forests surrounding the Upper Rogue River.

Since many mushrooms rely on specific moisture levels and temperature ranges, the date and exact location of this hike will be decided closer to October. If you are interested in this hike and have some limited flexibility, please sign up to join us! We will try to keep this event on a Friday, Saturday, or Sunday within the month of October and within an hour or so of the Rogue Valley.
