Artist Statement

My work is a playful expression of a mystical presence. It is a devotion to beauty and wisdom embodied in the innocent nature of the beings that I paint. I find the archetypes in my work, but it is through serendipity and curiosity that they emerge. Over 20 years of painting, and I find a continuous thread that weaves these paintings together. I am painting the story of my life, or perhaps a greater story, beyond time.

Artist Bio

Lindy Kehoe is a painter and illustrator,  living along a wild river in Southern Oregon.

Her work can be found in healing centers, children’s rooms, and tea houses. She is inspired to create worlds that feature magical beings in beautiful natural landscapes. Her intention is to paint colorful realms that evoke peace and wonder.

She has 5 children’s books. Most notably, her collaboration with Star Hawk’s  “The Last WIld Witch”, awarded them the SIlver Nautilus.
