Join Friends of the Cascade-Siskiyou National Monument in celebration of the Monument's 25th Anniversary. They will display a show by a diverse group of landscape painters brought together by their love of painting on location and the value they place on maintaining wilderness landscapes. They gather to spend four days immersed in the Cascade-Siskiyou National Monument, capturing its striking landscapes through their art. Their process often requires hiking and carrying supplies into remote areas, painting from both public lands and private property within the Monument, as well as taking in the expansive views from the Siskiyou Mountains’ highest peak, Mt. Ashland.

The paintings are for sale, and a small portion of the purchase price goes to the Friends of the Cascade-Siskiyou National Monument, a non-profit that promotes awareness of the Monument’s unique biological diversity, landscape, and cultural history. We hope you join us for a closer look at the marvels of wilderness through the eyes and hands of contemporary painters.

About the artists:

A tight-knit group of landscape painters gather each summer to spend four days painting in the Cascade-Siskiyou National Monument, and this year we will paint, as well as, celebrate the 25th Anniversary of the Monument.

The group explores areas that require some hiking and packing-in painting supplies. They paint from the public lands and private property within the Monument and the vast views from the Siskiyou Mountains’ highest peak, Mt. Ashland.

Local wine and light refreshments will be available.
