The Eight Dollar Mountain Botanical area located in southern Josephine County are the traditional aboriginal lands of the Athabascan (Tututni), Takelma and Shastan (Shasta) peoples that lived and still live in what we call the Klamath-Siskiyou region of southwestern Oregon.
