In the fall, Chinook salmon make their way up the Rogue to spawning grounds where they were birthed. On the way, they have many obstacles. On this hike, KS Wild will lead hikers to Rainie Falls to catch a glimpse of the salmon leaping over the falls on their way upstream. This is a great time to explore the Rogue River canyon. We’ll talk about ongoing efforts to protect the river corridor, while learning about the annual salmon migration.
