Meet at 10 am at Lynn Newbry Park, Talent Oregon

Join us to welcome the salmon home from their big journey!

Learn about the annual salmon migration up the Rogue River and Bear Creek on this casual stroll along the Bear Creek Parkway between Ashland and Talent. Rogue Riverkeeper staff will lead the hike to places along Bear Creek where salmon are known to spawn. 

We'll meet at the picnic table shelter at 10 am and return to the park around Noon. The hike will be about 2 1/2 miles round trip on mostly paved surfaces. Bring water, comfortable walking shoes, layers for rain or shine. Binoculars and polarized sunglasses are recommended to enhance your viewing experience!
