Sydney grew up in southern California but spent time as a kid in the KS and on the southern coast of Oregon. She has always been passionate about Oregon and is excited to settle in the Rogue Valley and get to know the beautiful region as an adult. She studied law at Gonzaga University School of Law in Spokane, during which time she interned with KS Wild, acted as an officer for Gonzaga’s Environmental Law Society, was involved as a volunteer with the Lands Council and Spokane Riverkeeper, and explored the trails around the city. She is excited to now act as Conservation Attorney for KS Wild, helping to protect the wildlife, forests, and biodiversity of the KS. 

She looks forward to discovering new favorite hiking, paddling, and camping spots and wants to pick up birding and pottery!
