Spring is the perfect time to build a birdhouse. Birds are a valuable resource for gardeners, birdwatchers and farmers, aiding in insect control and pollination of plant varieties. The Northwest Nature Shop will offer a build your own birdhouse class on Saturday April 9th at 11 am. Lee Web, local wildlife biologist, will lead the class in building a birdhouse and have some fun facts about birds. This is a family-friendly project that includes hammering, and drilling. Please bring a hammer from home to the class. $5 donation to Siskiyou Audubon Society for cost of materials.
Pre-register at the NW Nature Shop 541-482-3241.
