Sagebrush to Sea: A Journey Across the Siskiyou Crest- film showing in Jacksonville

This is a film about a 10-day hike across the Siskiyou Crest, highlighting views, ecology, plant identification and geography. In June 2019, Luke Ruediger and Suzie Savoie hiked nearly 200 miles through the wildlands of the Crest, starting on the PCT above Ashland and ending at the Pacific Ocean near Crescent City.

The journey traversed the Applegate River watershed, the Illinois River headwaters, the Smith River and the Klamath River watershed. Come along on this visual journey across a wild, largely unknown region, through old-growth forests, mountain meadows, and colorful rock gardens across the rugged spine of the Siskiyou Crest!
