Winter Hike Series: Siskiyou Crest Snow Shoe!

Join us for an adventurous day snow shoeing behind Mt. Ashland along the Siskiyou Crest towards McDonald Peak. Snow shoe rentals are available for a very reasonable daily fee from the Ashland Outdoor Store downtown. This promises to be an amazing day of dramatic scenery in all directions. We will use the broad views to offer folks an overview of the area's geography, natural history and most pressing conservation issues.

We will meet at 10:00 am at Evo's Cafe across from the Public Library in Ashland and carpool from there to the trailhead. We will still hike in a light snow, but will cancel for severe weather. Please rsvp to laurel@kswild.org or call the KS Wild office at 488-5789.

Bring: snowshoes, food, water, warm clothes, rain gear if needed and binoculars if you have them!
