Document Actions
The meeting will be held from 5:30 to 7 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 19, at 3040 Biddle Road, Medford.
The project covers approximately 860,000 acres within the Medford
District. The BLM proposes "integrated vegetation management treatments"
of up to 5,000 acres per year, for the next five years. The goal is to
develop a program that contributes to healthy and resilient forest
landscapes, species conservation, and provides forest products.
The meeting will begin with a short presentation introducing integrated
vegetation management approaches and the proposed actions of the
project. Resource specialists will be available until 7 p.m. in an open
house format to answer questions.
