This shorter distance hike will follow the Sterling Ditch Trail for approximately 3.5 miles through diverse habitats including pine-oak savannah, grasslands and mixed conifer forest, offering beautiful sweeping views of the Little Applegate Valley and the Siskiyou Crest. Winter is a great time for this wonderful hike.
Meet at Evo's Cafe in Ashland at 10 am - bring water, lunch and appropriate clothes. We will still go in light weather, but heavy rain cancels.
