Join us for our annual pilgrimage up to the 'Rabbit Ears' rock formation on backside of Mt Ashland for an invigorating day in the snow! Weather permitting, this snowshoe allows for expansive views of Mt Shasta, the Marble Mountains, the Siskiyou Crest and the Rogue Valley.
This will be a moderately difficult trip covering approximately 4 to 5 miles.
Meet at Evo's Cafe in Ashland at 10 am.
Bring water, lunch, snowshoes and appropriate clothes. Mountain Supply outdoor store on the plaza in Ashland rents snowshoes for a reasonable rate - and they offer a 10% discount to KS Wild members!
We will still go in light weather, but strong snow cancels.
