Defend Oregon from Dirty Energy
Tell Governor Kitzhaber that the State of Oregon should deny all permit applications for the Jordan Cove LNG project.

The Jordan Cove liquefied natural gas (LNG) proposal is the riskiest
energy project Southern Oregon has ever seen, and we need your help in
stopping this misguided fossil fuel development.
Originally billed as a necessary effort to import energy, the project
backers recently have admitted that they plan to export U.S. gas
overseas at Oregon's expense.
Exporting domestic supplies of natural gas would increase our gas prices
at home, impacting residential gas ratepayers and industrial consumers,
all while harming private landowners, rivers, fish, wildlife and public
forests in Southern Oregon and undermining the potential for American
energy independence.
A coalition of conservationists, impacted landowners, and fish
advocates, including KS Wild and Rogue Riverkeeper, is challenging the
required permits at every level. The State of Oregon has a lot of power
as the authority in granting—or denying—several permits, and we need
your help to make sure they do the right thing.
Don’t let an out-of-state energy company pull a bait and switch on Oregon.
