Cows Off the Crest! Ask the Forest Service to Prevent Damage From Overgrazing
Document Actions
The East Beaver Allotment is one of a handful on the Siskiyou
Crest where cows are known to impact beautiful high elevation wet
meadows, rare plants and recreational experiences.
Now, the Forest Service is taking comments on an "Allotment Management Plan" for the East Beaver, Hornbrook and Ash Gulch. Please let the Forest Service know that grazing should be curtailed on the Siskiyou Crest to prevent further damage to our valuable springs, steams and creeks.
